The Raleigh Symphony Orchestra

For lovers of orchestral music in our community – audiences, musicians of all ages and supporters – the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra provides a unique opportunity to participate in the creation, expression and appreciation of living art.  We serve the breadth and the richness of the art form through creatively-curated programming of the standard orchestral canon, chamber and small ensemble music and musical theatre and pops. Our concerts are presented by formally-trained musicians as an avocation – professionals and teachers in our community who view it as an expression of their passion to perform.  Our concerts are offered at accessible venues across the City of Raleigh that are affordable to students, seniors and diverse members of our community.  We introduce and prepare the next generation of music lovers through our long history of educating and presenting emerging musicians – bringing our mission full-circle.
