Soloists:  Symphony members enjoy performing together, but they also love to have the spotlight all to themselves. Soloists are available to delight your guests to the beauty of a single instrument.

Duo or Trio: The romantic sounds of string or flute Duo or Trio are always a favorite for memorable wedding ceremonies. The full tonal range of a harp accompanied by the simple beauty of a flute is wonderful music for all intimate events.

Woodwind Quintet: The Woodwind Quintet of the Symphony combines clarinet, oboe, bassoon, flute, and French horn in a wide range of performance options. This ensemble is elegant, subtle, and so very impressive.

Percussion Players:  The Percussion Ensemble entertains with a variety of percussion instruments from around the world. Their international repertoire includes music ranging from American Ragtime to traditional African to Mexican Folk. This colorful ensemble is a refreshing alternative source of entertainment.

Jazz Combo:  When you’re dealing with professionals, it only takes three musicians to add a little soul to your event. Piano, bass, and drums kick in to create a sound that’s warm elegance and cool jazz.

Big Band:  When you want your reception to be memorable, an 18 piece swing band can perform music ranging from Glenn Miller to Woody Herman. Keyboard, guitar, bass, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, vocalist and drums combine to the delight of your guests.

String Quartet:  A truly unforgettable event is guaranteed when these four musicians begin to play. Two violins, a viola and cello; it’s a classic combination.

Brass Quintet: The Raleigh Symphony Brass Quintet creates the perfect ceremonial sound: two trumpets, a French horn, trombone and tuba. Together, they ensure a commanding performance from Sousa to Purcell’s Trumpet Tune to jazz standards.
